FEED TROUGH STARTERS!

These recipes are designed for slow cooker meals but can easily be adapted for an Instant Pot or prepared on the stovetop in a skillet.

For slow cooker preparation:

  • LOW: Cook for 5 to 6 hours
  • HIGH: Cook for 3 to 4 hours

FEED TROUGH STARTER GUIDE FOR CHIPOTLE BBQ

POT LUCK BBQ

Grocery List: 2 to 3 lb chuck roast, pork roast, or country-style pork ribs, 2 to 2½ cups water, beef broth, or your favorite cooking liquid, 1 onion (roughly chopped, optional), potatoes and carrots (optional)

Place your favorite roast or country-style ribs into the slow cooker.

Add the cooking liquid and 1 package of Feed Trough Starter CHIPOTLE BBQ. If desired, add the chopped onion, potatoes, carrots, or your favorite vegetables.

Set your desired cooking temperature.

  • LOW: Cook for 5 to 6 hours
  • HIGH: Cook for 3 to 4 hours

When the meat is fork tender, serve it on a platter with the vegetables, pile it onto sandwich buns for BBQ sandwiches, or enjoy it straight from the trough.
