FEED TROUGH STARTERS!
Remember individual taste will vary. This is a guide, and you can always make changes at your degression. We would love to hear from you about how you’ve loved our product and any changes that have been made do we could pass on the fellow home cooks and customers everywhere. These recipes are designed for slow cooker meals, however, they can be slightly modified for an instaPot or prepared on a stove top with a skillet. Setting your slow cooker to LOW you will need to allow 5-6 hours for cooking. A HIGH setting will shorten the cooking time to 3-4 hours.

GREEK LENTAL SOUP
Grocery List: 1 cup Green or Red Lentils, 1 medium onion finally diced, 1 carrot shredded, 48 oz chicken or vegetable broth, 2 TBS Olive Oil, 1 small can of Tomato paste
In a slow cooker combine all listed ingredients and 1 package of Feed Trough Starter GREEK. Set your desired temperature. Serve up in a bowl for a hearty, healthy soup!
GYRO / GREEK POT ROAST
Grocery List: 3-4 lb Chuck roast or Stew Meat, 12oz-16oz jar pepperoncini peppers (slices or whole), 2 - 1 oz packages of ranch dip mix, 1 oz package of au jus mix, 2 TBS corn starch, pita bread, sliced onion, and sliced tomato
In a slow cooker place your roast, 2-3 cups of water or liquid of your choice. Add 1/2 jar of pepperoncini, 2 - 1oz packages of ranch dip mix, 1oz au jus packet and 1 package of Feed Trough Starter GREEK. Set your desired temperature. Serve this tangy “Gyro / roast” on pita with onions and tomatoes! Enjoy!
