THE FOLLOWING IS A RECIPE GUIDE ON HOW TO USE YOUR

FEED TROUGH STARTERS!

Remember individual taste will vary.  This is a guide, and you can always make changes at your discretion.  We would love to hear from you about how you’ve loved our product and any changes that have been made. These recipes are designed for slow cooker meals, however, they can be slightly modified for an instaPot or prepared on a stove top with a skillet.  Setting your slow cooker to LOW you will need to allow 5-6 hours for cooking.  A HIGH setting will shorten the cooking time to 3-4 hours.

 

FEED TROUGH STARTER GUIDE FOR HABANERO

 

MOLÉ

Grocery List: 3-5 pounds of boneless chicken thighs, 20 oz jar of grape jelly, 8 oz yellow mustard, 1 1.5oz chocolate bar, 1 medium onion, cilantro or parsley, favorite rice about 3 cups

In a slow cooker place grape jelly, mustard, chocolate bar, 1 package of Feed Trough Starter HABANERO and mix well.  Add chicken.  Set your desired temperature.   Before serving dice up the onion and cilantro or parsley. Prepare rice as directed. Serve chicken with rice garnish with raw onion and cilantro or parsley.  Enjoy!

 

PINEAPPLE HABANERO MEATBALL

Grocery List:  32 oz package of frozen meatballs, 1 20 oz Pineapple crushed

In a slow cooker place 1cup of water, 1 20z can of crushed pineapple and 1 package of Feed Trough Starter HABNERO and mix well.  Set your desired temperature.  Add meatballs and stir.  Once the meatballs are done serve as a wonderful spicey appetizer. Enjoy

 

PINEAPPLE HABANERO PULLED CHICKEN

Grocery List:   2-3 lbs Chicken Thighs, 1 14.5 oz can Diced Tomatoes, 1 20oz can of Crushed Pineapple, 1 medium onion

In a slow cooker, place diced tomatoes, pineapple, diced onion and 1 package of Feed Trough Starter HABANERO and mix well.  Add chicken.  Set your desired temperature.   Once chicken is done, it can be served many ways. It can be served with tortillas and your favorite fix’ns to make tacos.  It can also be served over rice and with your favorite vegetable side.  Enjoy!
